1. What is Caddies Call?
   Caddies Call is a GPS Golf Application for Blackberry and iPhones with features including: Yardage to hazards and to carry hazards, Yardage to front, middle and back of greens. Scorecard up to five players. Hole Overview Image allows you to see layout of hole. Handicap Calcualtor & Statistics: Calculate your Handicap, Record your Greens hit in Regulation, # of Fairways hit and # of putts per round. Enjoy your personal webpage with your statistics to improve your game and lower your score
2. What is a handicap index?
   Handicap index is rating for how well you play that can be applied to any course. Using your index you can find out what your handicap is on any course. So that if you enter a tournament you can play against people of different caliber in the same foursome.
3. What is stroke control or an adjusted score?
   In North America you are allowed to adjust your score based on what your handicap index is. There is a pop up window at the end of your round that will explain how to adjust your score before entry
4. Will this application improve my game?
   Knowledge is the key to success. Caddies Call will give you the information you need to manage the course in the best way possible in the palm of your hand.
5. Which devices work with Caddies Call?
   Caddies Call is currently available for the Apple iPhone 3G & 3GS and Blackberry Curve, Bold, Bold2, Storm, Storm2, Onyx & Tour.
6. How much does it cost?
   $9.95. Includes the application downloaded to your phone and all updates for 1 year after purchase.
7. How many courses are loaded?
   Upon application launch in the Apple iTunes Store and Blackberry Store, approximately 4000 golf courses in the US and Canada are planned. Other courses will soon be added as they are being entered to the database on a consistent basis. You can check to see if your favorite courses are already included in our database. If not go to the request a course section on our website or contact us at: info@caddiescall.com.
8. What if my course is not listed?
   If your course is not listed go to the Request a Course section on our website and enter your course. (It is our aim to satisfy all course requests as promptly as possible.)
9. What about software updates?
   Updates to Caddies Call will be an consistently ongoing process. There are currently many feature updates planned for the application. The Apple App Store icon on the iPhone will keep you aware of changes to the application. Also, any updates to the application will be displayed on the website, so check back often.
10. How can I view my scorecards so that I may track my progress?
    Within the application you are able to review the last ten rounds that you have played.
11. How do I install Caddies Call onto my phone?
    When you purchase the Caddies Call application you will get an email with a unique URL to the application file, this link is only good for one use. When you click on the link it will ask you to download the application. Click on download and the rest is taken care of for you. On the iPhone you have to purchase our application from the iTunes store.
12. I have tried your trial version and would like to purchase your full version?
    Go to www.caddiescall.com and follow the easy steps to download to your phone or go directly to the app store on your iPhone and search for Caddies Call.
    Select PRICE AND ORDER in the left menu + Your currency. Select the pay button and follow instructions. Note - remember to enter your phone number so that we can open your account. If your account is not open within 24 hours please send us an email including your pay code and mobile number and we will check it up. For both options you do not need to do anything else, and can continue to use the "trial" which will be opened up and converted to a regular version.
13. How can I renew my subscription?
    There will be new upgraded versions every year available at a discounted renewal fee.
14. Is there a renewal fee?
    Yes, it will be $9.95US annually including new and improved updates.
15. Forgot your web password?
    If you click on the forgot password in the application login screen it will email it to you.
16. I have downloaded Caddies Call but can't find it on my phone.
    On Blackberries it should be under downloads, or under your main window. (Click the Blackberry button).
17. If I upgrade or get a new phone, do I have to buy a new version of Caddies Call?
    On Blackberry you will have to contact us at: info@caddiescall.com to get a new link sent to your phone. On an iPhone when you sync the new phone with iTunes it will bring across a version for your new phone.
18. Can I use my Google Phone?
    Not yet, but we are working on a Android version.
19. Will Caddies Call work on my older version of iPhone?
    Caddies Call requires OS 3 on the iPhone to run properly. OS 3 is a free upgrade for iPhone owners.
20. How does Caddies Call affect my battery?
    The use of GPS on mobile devices consumes your battery. Make sure you have a full charge before going out The Blackberry Bold consumes the most battery life of any phone. If you have a Bold you may want to:
    • Close unwanted background running applications.
    • Change brightness to a lower mode.
    • Change backlight time out to a lower setting as well as Auto-Dim should be on.
    • Add a battery extender.
